About me
Christina is an award-winning multi-disciplinary Caymanian artist, writer and entrepreneur. As the founder of Art Nest Creative Studio, her goal is to connect others to their creativity and purpose through guided art instruction classes and workshops. She enjoys working with watercolour, acrylic, resin, pen, inks, clay and wood, to name a few.
Most of Christina’s work captures and reinterprets scenes from nature, particularly the captivating flora and fauna of her native Cayman Islands. Although this was not a conscious choice in the beginning, this has become her signature theme.
She also paints large scale murals and most recently was awarded first place in a mural competition in the Cayman Islands for a 100 ft heritage and environmental inspired painting, proceeds of which benefitted the National Trust’s conservation efforts.
Christina is a former lawyer and previously served as the Executive Director of the National Trust for the Cayman Islands. She is also an Accredited Mediator and an Executive Coach who helps organisations create a culture teams can thrive in.
Additionally, Christina enjoys creative projects including creative writing, DIY craft projects, interior and graphic design and drumming. She is also an avid dancer and plays a variety of sports including badminton, volleyball and flag football.
